Purchase Salmon Tartare

Ingredients

200 gr fresh Atlantic salmon
100 gr smoked salmon
30 gr of salmon caviar
1 French shallot
¼ bouquet of dill
3 tbsp Olive oil
Salt and pepper (to taste)
1 lemon

Preparation

  1. Remove the skin from the salmon fillet. Then dice it grossly and reserve it in the fridge (or order the salmon already cut in tartar)
  2. Peel and dice the shallots in small cubes. Finely chop the dill and squeeze the lemon making sure to remove all the seeds.
  3. Mix salmon and caviar in a bowl, adding lemon juice, three tablespoons of olive oil, salmon caviar, dill and salt and pepper. Taste before serving to ensure seasoning.

Tips

You can always add other spices to taste. Spicy mayo, tartare sauce, or other fine herbs can change up the recipe. 

For a nice presentation put the tartare in a circle mold and decorate with lemon quarters and dill or parsley.
